MMA Partners with Veryable to Innovate Manufacturing Workforce Challenges

LANSING (Aug. 30, 2023) — Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) and Veryable announce their newest partnering endeavor to support and promote the growth of manufacturing across the state by providing innovative solutions for the workforce gap that manufacturing is facing in the nation, which places Michigan manufacturers in a prime position to gain quality talent.

Partnerships such as the one between MMA and Veryable promote best practices in manufacturing, encourage innovation, and provide educational resources to manufacturers throughout the state.

“MMA is proud to announce our partnership with Veryable, a platform that connects manufacturers with on-demand labor,” said Executive Vice President of Operations Delaney McKinley. “As a proven leader in serving Michigan manufacturers through workforce development, education, training, networking and cost savings; MMA is committed to bridging the gaps between Michigan's workforce challenges and solutions. This partnership with Veryable will further strengthen MMA’s ability to provide innovative solutions and support to our members. We look forward to working together to ensure Michigan's manufacturing sector remains one of the most inventive and industrious business sectors on the planet.”

Veryable’s mission is to revitalize the American manufacturing sector by allowing businesses to “variablize” labor costs in small increments. This lets them increase costs only as their output increases, which will empower businesses to scale while maintaining a lower and more constant cost structure. Veryable aims to achieve this through our technology, which enables us to transform an antiquated and inefficient labor market into a real-time marketplace for labor. This will put more people to work and relieve the burden on producers, improving overall productivity and enabling organic growth.

“With just under 35,000 operators currently using the platform in the state of Michigan, this can impact your operations today. It’s designed for the CEO focused on growth, the VP Ops responsible for margin expansion, and the Ops Manager who hasn’t had the tools or resources to do their job,” said Patrick Dippel, Veryable President – West Division. “We are excited to scale operational excellence in Michigan and through MMA.”

As a unifying champion of Michigan’s manufacturing industry for 120 years, MMA has a proven track record and an unmatched commitment to providing critical services through partnerships designed to enhance the success of Michigan’s manufacturers and the communities they serve.
