Developed by a proven process, the COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective. After decades of research, months of clinical development, and tens of thousands of diverse volunteers in clinical trials, scientists and doctors worldwide have joined forces to bring us a safe, effective vaccine for COVID-19 and help give us our lives back.
The development and distribution of a COVID-19 vaccine are pivotal steps toward saving lives and returning the manufacturing economy to normal operations. Vaccine hesitation could stand as a significant barrier to the state’s goal of vaccinating 70 percent of Michigan residents over the age of 16.
MMA is working closely with Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Administration as well as business and health leaders to address vaccine hesitation and accelerate the vaccine distribution process.
