2018 PRIME Breakfast

Wed, May 9, 2018

7:30 AM - 8:45 AM

Suburban Collection Showplace, Novi, MI

More than 65 percent of manufacturers point to the process of finding, attracting, hiring, training and retaining talent as the top challenge facing their business. The challenge of talent echoes across all sectors of manufacturing.

Manufacturers of all sizes are struggling to fill vital, next generation roles, either due to a shortage of interested young people or failures in how essential skills for these careers are taught in school. Throughout 2018, MMA will be partnering with two nationally renowned initiatives — The Manufacturing Institute’s Dream It Do It® program and the SME Education Foundation’s Partnership Response In Manufacturing Education (PRIME®) effort — to bring a solution to talent to every community that wants it.

Combining PRIME’s proven success with the Manufacturing Institute’s robust messaging strategy, manufacturers across the state can coordinate with their local schools to develop customized curricula to help fill available manufacturing careers.

Bring PRIME® to Your Town

Join MMA, the SME Education Foundation, and interested employers from across Michigan for an informational PRIME® breakfast the morning of the MFG Forum on 4/25/17 in Novi.
