LANSING (Aug. 21, 2024) — The Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) proudly announced an incredible lineup of contenders for the 2024 Coolest Thing Made in Michigan competition, which opened Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024. This year’s nominees showcase an impressive range of innovative and unique products, reflecting the diverse talents of manufacturers across our great state. The program is a key part of MMA’s annual celebration of the remarkable contributions made by Michigan’s manufacturing industry.

MMA has once again teamed up with Endeavor IT for this year’s Coolest Thing Made in Michigan competition. Endeavor IT, the exclusive program sponsor, remains dedicated to the shared goal of celebrating the billions of innovative products that Michigan manufacturers continue to develop, making a remarkable impact on our state and the nation. 

MMA created the Coolest Thing Made in Michigan competition to shine a light on the champions of manufacturing, whose home-grown ingenuity has made this state the most diverse manufacturing center in the world. And, because these products impact more than just manufacturers, the Association is giving everyone in Michigan the opportunity to vote for their favorites. 

In Round 1 of the competition, open from Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024 through Friday, Aug. 30, 2024. Anyone can vote daily for up to four products at micoolestthing.org. These votes determine which products make it to the Top Ten in Round 2. Round 2 of voting will determine the Top Three finalists, with the winner of the Coolest Thing Made in Michigan announced live during the Manufacturing Excellence Awards gala on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 in Lansing.
