LANSING (June 2, 2022) — Mike Johnston, Vice President of Government Affairs for the Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA), was again recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as one of the Top 50 Names to Know in Lobbying. Johnston was also recognized with the honor in 2020. 

Johnston has led MMA’s government affairs efforts since 2008, including tax and energy policy issues, on behalf of the Association's membership. He has represented MMA at the Capitol since 1999. 

There are more than 1,400 lobbyists registered with the state of Michigan and MMA is proud to have one of their own recognized among the top 50.
